A one-day workshop with Peter O’Hanrahan

Co-sponsored by Enneagram Studies in the Narrative Tradition and the Mill Valley Community Center

  • Learn how to have better relationships with the nine different personality types – family members, partners and colleagues at work
  • Increase your emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Understand the nine styles in relationship and what works best for each

Each person is unique and no one can be reduced to a number or a type. But when it comes to personality, the Enneagram suggests that there are nine different patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving. Understanding each of the nine Enneagram types, including our own, helps us empathize and interact better while reducing unnecessary conflict. We don’t have to take things so personally!

In this workshop you will learn:

  • The emotional issues and relationship concerns of the nine personality types
  • The strengths and challenges of your own relationship style
  • How to manage reactivity toward others
  • How to communicate effectively with all nine personality types
  • How love and care can be expressed through three centers: body, heart and mind

The format will include: presentation, discussion, mindfulness practice, and panel interviews in the Narrative Tradition about what works best in relationship and what gets in the way.

Location: Mill Valley Community Center (MVCC), 180 Camino Alto, Mill Valley, CA 94941
