The Enneagram: A Path of Compassion, Boulder, CO
Mar 11
9 am - 1 pm

During times of great change, we need the understanding the Enneagram offers more than ever.  The Narrative Tradition is built on the foundation of sharing ourselves and listening to others.  Sure, we learn about the Enneagram, but we also find ourselves opening our hearts and minds in extraordinary ways.

Whether you are new to the Enneagram or familiar with this dynamic system, this 4-hour class will deepen compassion for yourself and others.  The Enneagram is a nine-pointed symbol that describes nine personality types, each with distinct habits of feeling, thinking and behaving.

This class offers an interactive exploration of the nine personality types through inquiry with panelists who share their personal stories and insights. Each type has a coherent pattern in how the world is perceived and experienced, yet is biased by perceptual filters that cloak or amplify certain aspects of reality.

With a greater understanding of ourselves and others, we can begin to experience more freedom from our unconscious patterns, improve our relationships, and develop greater compassion by seeing from another’s point of view.

In this class we will:

  • Explore the nine types as described by the Enneagram
  • Reveal the primary motivation for each type and center
  • Practice body-centered awareness techniques

The format is highly interactive, fun, informative and transformative. Through panel interviews in the Narrative Tradition, guided meditations, lectures and body-centered practices, you will come to understand your own worldview and learn more about the worldviews of others.
