Inner Work for Outer Change, San Francisco, CA
Feb 12 - Apr 16, 2014
7:00pm - 9:00pm (PST)

Inner Work for Outer Change, a nine-week Enneagram panel series with Helen Palmer and Sharon Berbower on Wednesday evenings at California Institute of Integral Studies. No class on March 19. Sign up for full series or drop-ins OK for single classes.

This nine-week series explores the relationship between embedded neurological patterns that determine our identity and the pure consciousness of an inner observer. The observer-object relationship is a cornerstone of mystical teaching that highlights our ability to internally recognize-and learn to relax-subjective inner filters that obscure objective reality.

Taught in the narrative method of firsthand reports, we will hear nine different perspectives on the inner patterns that drive each type in predictable outer directions.
Please expect a short didactic on the inner observer’s role in evolutionary consciousness, a panel interview, Q and A with the panelists, and a guided inner practice.

Helen Palmer is a teacher of intuition and psychology, and international best-selling author with books in 30 languages. Her work is the subject of a PBS television documentary, Breaking Out of the Box: Discovering the Enneagram. In 1988 she and David Daniels, MD, co-founded Enneagram Studies in the Narrative Tradition, a school that unites personal and spiritual evolution. www.Enneagram.com www.EnneagramWorldwide.com

Sharon Berbower, MFT, is a longtime psychotherapist with an extensive background in meditation and spirituality. An Enneagram teacher at JFK University for more than 20 years, she has also taught the system extensively in the U.S. and abroad.
