Sponsored by Enneagram Center of the Ohio Valley
Helen Palmer and Marion Gilbert will demonstrate the Narrative Tradition’s use of somatic exploration to reconcile body, mind and spirit. As both clients and facilitators, we all have the experience of recycling the same issues, obstacles and impasses in our professional and personal work. The Enneagram is not only a comprehensive personality typology but also offers a path toward reducing psychological conditioning and increasing spiritual freedom.
The Enneagram’s core teaching of the three centers of intelligence – the mind, heart and body – allows for an illuminating view of our patterns. It also points us in the direction of relaxing our type structure at the root of our suffering. This can allow the pain that has been held hostage in our body to move and be dealt with.
In this workshop, Marion and Helen will guide us in showing the way we can understand, grow, and facilitate our own and other’s healing. Through lecture, narrative panels, guided meditation and somatic practices, this Enneagram weekend promises an integration of psychology, spirituality and somatics.
