What if there were another way to draw the connecting lines of the Enneagram symbol? There is and it’s called the Enneagram of Harmony. The Enneagram of Harmony will help you discover yourself anew through a perspective that uncovers often hidden resources held in each of your centers of intelligence – body, heart, and mind. It deepens the capacity for self-understanding and transformation.
Doesn’t it seem curious that types Two and Four have no connection to the Head Center and types Five and Seven have no connection to the Heart Center? The Enneagram of Harmony creates three equilateral triangles in which each type has a foot in all three centers of intelligence, connecting 3-6-9, 2-5-8, and 1-4-7. We’ve had a tendency to think of ourselves as Head types or Heart types or Body types. This is inaccurate. As human beings, we all have three centers and there is a dynamic flow that operates between them.
The effect of working with the system from this perspective enhances our connection to each center as we see more fully how it tends to orient. It can bring unconscious behaviors, desires, and beliefs into the light of awareness. The Enneagram of Harmony elucidates the path of our evolutionary potential as we develop greater capacity to access our innate intelligences.
This class is for students familiar with the Enneagram and is presented in the Narrative Tradition, which brings the Enneagram to life through interview and inquiry of the nine Enneagram types. The panel method quickly builds community and supports learning through the mind, heart and body.
