Unleash Your Potential with the Enneagram, Boulder, CO
Mar 2 - Jun 1, 2016
1st Wednesdays, 7-9 pm (3/2, 4/6, 5/4, 6/1)

Meet: 1st Wednesdays (3/2, 4/6, 5/4, 6/1)

The Enneagram is a rich tool for self-awareness, personal and spiritual growth.  Gathering with others, steeped in the Narrative Tradition, an ongoing group offers a great place for unleashing greater potential in your inner life and relationships.  The group will meet once a month for four months in the spring and fall.  The intention is to create a community for your ongoing understanding and work with the Enneagram.

The topic for this gathering will be instincts and subtypes in relationships.  Our primary instinctual drive has a powerful effect on our everyday lives and relationships.  Related deeply to survival, we have the instinct for self-preservation, social, and 1-1 or sexual relating.  Where type and instinct meet, we have the subtype.  We have all three instinctual drives, attend to them all to some degree, but have a tendency to over-focus on one.  And of course, we bring all three of our instincts into our relationships.

People have often found that their dominant instinctual drive is more important than type when it comes to daily life.  Knowing this can change your life and give you more freedom from automatic patterns while also helping your understand the patterns of those with whom you live and work.

The three instinctual drives include:
•    Self preservation, which guides our relationships with home, food, security, family and warmth in personal relationship
•    One-to-one, which fuels our personal vitality, sexuality, intimate relationships, and our experience of spiritual union
•    Social, which forms our friendships, our participation in groups and community, and our social identity

The format of the sessions will include sharing of experiences (the Narrative Tradition), guided awareness practices, didactic and body-centered practices.  Participants who want to continue with the ongoing group in the next session will have input into what we explore in the Enneagram system.

Fee: $175. Register by February 17 and save $35.
